Google and Facebook in the race for Skype
A source close to Facebook told Reuters that Mark Zuckerberg is considering topurchase the Skype service, for a price no greater than 3 or 4 billion dollars.
Meanwhile, another source says that Facebook and Google are thinking of doing a cooperation agreement and create a telecommunications company, which then wouldbecome the owner of Skype.
While the two rival companies are creating strategies to purchase this service, selfSkype officials have refused to comment on this issue.
However, any of the major companies which will buy Skype service, would benefitmillions of new users who already are members of the service and use it regularly.
